With disabled people already representing 25% of recreational shooters, British Shooting is looking to raise the profile of target shooting as a disabled friendly sport.

British Shooting is working hard with clubs and other partners to provide inclusive opportunities for people to come and try target shooting. As a sport, target shooting is incredibly accessible and requires minimal modification, making it easy for pretty much everyone to have a go regardless of age or ability. It is also a Paralympic sport, and through Disability Shooting Great Britain there is a clear pathway to elite success.
At the moment we are really focussing our efforts on developing inclusive activity in  Surrey, Devon, Dorset, Cambridgeshire, across Yorkshire and in the Birmingham area. (Although we will of course try and find appropriate opportunities for anyone who gets in touch).
If you want to find our more and to try target shooting, contact Gorgs Geikie (Development Activator - South) gorgs.geikie@britishshooting.org.uk or Sam Sanderson (Development Activator - North) sam.sanderson@britishshooting.org.uk.
