Yate Outdoor Sports Complex (YOSC), south Gloucestershire was the host of our Final Ranking event resulting in the selection of the first Target Sprint GB team.

Along side this were the open National Series races, which was great preparation for the National Final at YOSC on Saturday 9th September. Like all the National Series Events, these heats qualified athletes for the National Final.

The appointed selection panel, including Head GB Target Sprint Coach, Martin Beard, appointed Selector, Mark Lodge, led by British Shooting's Target Sprint Coordinator Gorgs Geikie, brought to the table a wealth of knowledge and experience from the shooting, running, high performance and combined Target Sprint worlds.

They formed their selection decisions for the World Championships which take place in Suhl, Germany in June, based on the GB Target Sprint Selection Policy with the key criteria being athlete's attainment of the minimum consideration time, final ranking list and other relevant consideration points for selection.

The team selected:

Junior Woman
Emily Shawyer
Victoria Bradbury
Charlotte Huddart

Junior Men
Sam Hopson
Jack Jeffreys
Kieran Gall

All the athletes will be competing individually and in teams. We wish all the athletes and support staff luck and enjoyment in their preparations and performances at the Target Sprint World Championships.
