The inaugural British Shooting Schools 10m Air Pistol Championships 2016/17 came to an end today as the competition reached its climax at the Sport Wales National Centre.

The competition, which featured the best of all air pistol shooters from schools in there UK, was originally split into two areas - North and South - with the top performers invited to Cardiff to compete to become the national champion.

Events were unisex meaning males and females were able to compete on a level playing field and it was great to see two girls taking gold medal positions in the junior and intermediate events.

We would like to congratulate all those who took part in the qualifying series in October/November and particularly to those who qualified and competed at the National Final, kindly hosted by the Welsh Target Shooting Federation at Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff on Wednesday 25th January.
