Schools Pistol Championships 2017/18

The 2017-18 Championships consists of four qualifying events which feed into the National Final.

It consists of Individual and Team events each in three age categories for both able bodied and disabled athletes. All categories are mixed gender.
British Shooting welcome all athletes to enter and represent their schooling establishment (home schooling is allowed). Talent Pathway opportunities are available during and following these Championships if athletes are interested in further activity.
Wednesday 17th January 2018 @ Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Buckinghamshire.
Individual Categories: NB. All age categories are mixed gender.
|Junior: School Year 6, 7 & 8
||Junior (Disabled): School Year 6, 7 & 8
|Intermediate: School Year 9, 10.
||Intermediate (Disabled): School Year 9, 10.
|Senior: School Year 11, 12 & 13.
||Senior (Disabled): School Year 11, 12 & 13.
Junior (inc. Junior Disabled): School Year 6, 7 & 8.
Intermediate (inc. Intermediate Disabled): School Year 9, 10.
Senior (inc. Senior Disabled): School Year 11, 12 & 13.
The top three scoring athletes from the same school, in the same age category, will be totalled to give their team score. (Scores extracted from the athlete’s individual qualification round at that event).
Who Qualifies for the National Final?
Individual: Top 4 Individual athletes from each age category at each qualifying event. (See Rule 21)
Team: Top Team from each age category at each qualifying event. (See Rule 23)
