I have been working in the Sports industry for over ten years, most recently as a sports business consultant with Deloitte where, for the last three years, I have been seconded to the British Olympic Association to head up the programme management function.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte I transferred into the firm’s Sports Business Group where I delivered a wide range of assignments for national governing bodies, international federations, clubs, event owners and other sporting organisations. My work included strategic and operational reviews, due diligence projects for potential investors, feasibility and economic impact studies and advice to organisations on revenue generation and cost control. Whilst at Deloitte I was seconded into the London 2012 Organising Committee where I lead the programme to secure the Licensing and Certification permissions for all venues outside the Olympic Park and then helped deliver Games time operations at the Basketball Arena, Velodrome and BMX Track.

At the British Olympic Association I have had the privilege of working within the High Performance sporting system that achieved historic performances for Team GB at both Rio 2016 and PyeongChang 2018. I am now working across all areas of the organisation to develop and deliver the programme plan for Tokyo 2020. As part of the Senior Leadership team and with the support of the Board I managed the development of the BOA’s 2017-2024 strategic plan which is now in its second year of implementation.

Formerly a teacher, my working life has been shaped by High Performance Sport and in particular Rowing. I live in Berkshire and have a husband and daughter who are both interested in shooting, my daughter is an Air Cadet and hopes to develop her air rifle skills. I have worked in a number of roles within British Rowing for over 20 years and am currently the Development Pathway and Paralympic Programme Manager. During my time with rowing I have coached crews at World Junior, World U23 World Senior and the Olympic Games,. I have established the World Class Start Talent Identification programme for rowing which identifies non-rowers and develops them into Olympic medallists. In addition, I have developed the Paralympic Programme. Rowing became a Paralympic sport in 2006 and I have had the honour to lead the programme through three games cycles culminating with a dominant performance in Rio where GB won three gold medals and one bronze from the four available medals promoting GB to the top of the medal table.I am really looking forward to being able to bring my experience from another sport and be able to apply the lessons I have learned to benefit British Shooting.

I have been the CEO of British Shooting since 2012 and, in this role, I'm a member of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) and the National Paralympic Committee (NPC). I have been at the forefront of some of the most exciting and successful initiatives in sport in the UK over the past 25 years.

A former international track athlete, I'm also an independent Director of Commonwealth Games England and a Non-Executive Director of England Lacrosse. At Sport England I was Head of Governing Bodies, which followed two years as Head of World Class Programmes and was part of the team that developed the lottery investment system that has played such a big part in transforming elite sport in the UK.

I have considerable multi-sport Games experience having been an integral part of the planning and delivery of the event and teams in 4 Commonwealth Games. As a consultant, I advised on venue and technical planning for London 2012, and was appointed a member of the FCO Olympics and Paralympics Legacy Team. I have been a policy adviser to Governments at home and abroad, and consultant to a wide range of national and international sports federations.

I'm based at Bisley and responsible for the range complex (largest in Europe). I have been shooting since the age of eight – including game, rough, clay target and rifle shooting.

I've Previously worked for 10 years as CEO for large agricultural / horse charity and developed events venue attracting 850k visitors each year; then spent nearly three happy years on a restoration project for historic castle and gardens in the Lake District.

I like to think I bring business discipline and a dash of entrepreneurship to traditional charities. I enjoy epic walks with beloved lurchers.

I am the Managing Director of Freeview, the UK’s biggest TV platform. Through the development and launch of Freeview Play, I have taken the brand into the connected world, bringing together catch-up, on-demand and live television subscription free. Freeview Play is on track to become the new normal way of watching TV for the majority of UK viewers.

Prior to joining Freeview in 2011 I was at Victim Support where I transformed the charity with a new identity, advertising campaign and the national charity’s first five-year fundraising plan.

My media expertise has been developed through over a decade working in senior marketing roles at the BBC, most notably with BBC Sport and the BBC Television channel portfolio. The last eighteen months of which were in BBC Worldwide building global franchises for the Top Gear, Dr Who and Dancing with the Stars brands.

Prior to the BBC, I worked in marketing roles at Bass Brewers, increasing share and profit for the Worthington, Grolsch and Carling brands.

I am married with two children and have a real passion for SPORT.

Residing in rural Warwickshire with my partner and 2 daughters, I enjoy the outdoor life and activities in the countryside.
I’m a time-served Mechanical Engineer and Chartered Quality Professional with 36 years British Industry experience with NEI, GEC Alsthom and BAE Systems. My day job is Supplier Management and Product Assurance of engineered equipment used in the manufacture of submarines for our Royal Navy, a high criticality and high integrity vessel which forms part of our national security.

For the last 10 years I have served in Local Government and I’m a serving Chairman of a Parish Council. This involves supporting, maintaining and improving the local community and amenities. In this capacity I lead the Council, deal with public finances, setting of annual budgets, raising local taxes, controlling expenditure, creating and developing the governance framework, contract negotiation, recruitment and employment of the Clerk, public speaking, conflict resolution and planning law. Interaction and development of relationships with Regulatory Bodies, County Councils and Corporate organisations is an important part of my role.

I’m a life member of the CPSA and have been involved in shooting sports for over 40 years. Shooting is my main sport and I shoot over 4000 clay targets per annum at my preferred discipline of English Sporting. I am an Independant Director on the CPSA Board where I can contribute to and influence the sustainment, growth and development of the sport I have a passion for.
